Sifu Patrick began training with Grand Master Woody Sims in 2007 while attending the California Maritime Academy. He trained regularly at the dojo while juggling his studies and his duties within the Corps of Cadets. In November of 2010, he earned his black belt. The upcoming April he graduated college and returned to San Diego where he began teaching Kajukenbo. In 2014 he returned to Vallejo and has been teaching under GM Sims when he is not out working on the ocean.
