Sibak BJ began training with GM Sims in 1990 up through blue belt. In 1994, he joined the Army and left California. He trained in Tae Kwon Do in Korea for about six months before returning stateside. He trained with (then) Sigung Walt Andrae at Red Dragon U.S. karate in Martinez, Georgia up through brown belt. In 1998, he earned his black belt (1st deg) under Sibak Ken Hale and Sibak Ken Hudson. He has recently returned to the martial arts at the beckoning of GM Sims, who is now training Sibak BJ's children.
